I think there is something to writing for each different age level. Yes, you want to seem intelligent and have complex ideas in your writing. However, one also needs to remember to cater first and foremost to their audience. If their audience is dropping off before reading the entire article, maybe it is time to reevaluate your reading level without sacrificing quality of content. This was a great read, thank you J.J.
